He’d hold a pageant, to find himself a girl, The most beautiful girl in all the world. CHORUS A kind old man named Mordechai Told his sweet niece Esther, “I think that you should try To win the pageant and become our queen, If you will it, then it is no dream!” CHORUS The king saw her beauty And thought it right, That they be wed that very same night. She was kind and true, and brave and smart, No one could have a bigger heart. CHORUS The kings advisor was a very cruel “dude”, He had a plan to get rid of all the Jews. She said to the king, Who was just a little clueless, “Did I forget to mention I was Jewish?!” CHOURS The wasy the story ends or so they say They got rid of Haman the very next day.
